Who rents out the ETT Trayser 2.0?
Otto Scooter Ltd, exclusively, from 66 Paddenswick Road, Hammersmith W6 0UB. ETT Industries designs and builds the Trayser and has been part of Otto Scooter Ltd since 2023; there is no checkout on this site.
The weekly rate is £55, or £49 for riders on Uber Eats and Deliveroo, plus a £200 refundable deposit at collection. Maintenance and battery swaps are included in the week.

What is ETT Industries?
ETT (Escape Through Technology) is a design-led electric vehicle maker: race cars first, then the Raker electric motorcycle, and today the Trayser 2.0 delivery e-bike. ETT has been part of Otto Scooter Ltd since 2023, and the Trayser is built for London delivery work.
Where can I rent or buy a Trayser 2.0?
Only from Otto Scooter, ETT’s exclusive London channel. Otto handles availability, collection, servicing and support from the workshop at 66 Paddenswick Road, Hammersmith W6 0UB. There is no checkout on ettindustries.uk.
Do I need a licence to ride the Trayser 2.0?
No. The Trayser 2.0 is an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC), so no CBT and no driving licence are required. It is a bicycle in law, which also means it is not insured like a moped — the rental covers the bike, not third-party cover.
Where does the Trayser operate?
London only. Rental, collection and servicing all run from the Hammersmith workshop, and a bike that needs work comes back to that site.
How quickly can I start?
Ask Otto Scooter for availability and most riders collect within a few days. Uploading your documents in advance is the single thing that speeds it up.
The bike
How big is the battery and how far does it go?
The Trayser 2.0 carries a 1,056 Wh removable battery — the biggest battery pack on any delivery e-bike you can rent in London. That is 50–60 miles (80–120 km) per charge, or roughly 6–8 working hours depending on assist level, load and weather.
How long does charging take?
About 4 hours to full from any standard UK 3-pin socket. The pack lifts off the frame, so it charges indoors rather than wherever the bike is locked.
Why a belt instead of a chain?
The Trayser runs a Gates carbon belt drive. There is no chain to stretch, oil or replace, which removes the maintenance job delivery riders skip most often and the one that fails first in a wet London winter.
How fast is it?
25 km/h (15.5 mph) — the legal assisted speed for e-bikes in the UK. Above that you are pedalling it yourself, like any bicycle.
What else is on the bike?
Hydraulic disc brakes, puncture-protected tyres, an aluminium frame, front and rear lights, and a USB port that charges your phone from the bike battery. One size, unisex.
Price and deposit
How much does the Trayser 2.0 cost to rent?
£55 per week through Otto Scooter, or £49 per week if you ride for Uber Eats or Deliveroo. The week includes the bike, a 1,056 Wh battery, a charger, a security lock and chain, free maintenance and free battery swaps at the workshop.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — £200, refundable when the bike comes back in fair-wear condition. It is taken at collection together with your first week. There is no credit check.
Is there a starter fee or a long contract?
No starter fee. A 4-week minimum applies to delivery rentals; after that you renew or return, with no notice period.
How do I pay?
Deposit and first week are paid at collection. Renewals and one-off payments are handled by Otto Scooter by card — see the Payment page.
Collection & return
What documents do I need?
Four: proof of address (utility bill or bank statement), photographic ID (passport or driving licence), a screenshot of your rider ID from the delivery app, and a selfie. Upload them in advance on the Upload Documents page or bring them with you.
What do I bring to the collection appointment?
Your photographic ID even if you already uploaded it, plus the £200 refundable deposit and the first week’s rent. The bike is set up for you before you ride away.
Where do I collect the bike?
At Otto Scooter’s West London workshop — 66 Paddenswick Road, London W6 0UB. Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00.
What happens at the end of the rental?
Return the bike, or renew for another period. Your choice at the end of each period, no notice needed.
Support
Is maintenance really included?
Yes — general maintenance and wear-and-tear repair are included in the rental, and most jobs are done the same working day. Book as often as you need; there is no per-visit charge.
How do battery swaps work?
Bring a flat pack to the workshop and swap it for a charged one, free, so a long day does not end at 50 miles. Or charge at home in about 4 hours.
What if the bike breaks down?
Contact Otto Scooter and they book you in — same day in most cases. Servicing happens at the London site, so the bike needs to come in.

AdRider
What is ETT AdRider?
AdRider is the sponsored version of the same Trayser 2.0. External advertisers pay to run a campaign on the bike’s side panels, and their contribution helps fund ETT’s rental pricing. Same bike, same battery, same service — the only visible difference is the artwork on the panels.
What is the difference between an AdRider bike and a plain one?
Nothing mechanical. Both are the Trayser 2.0: 1,056 Wh battery, Gates belt drive, hydraulic disc brakes. AdRider bikes simply carry an advertiser’s panels instead of plain ones.
Can I always get an AdRider bike?
No — availability depends on which advertising campaigns are running at the time. Otto Scooter confirms what is on the floor when you book; if no campaign is live you get a plain-panel Trayser at the standard price.
