About ETT Industries
ETT started in New Zealand with race-car building expertise and is now headquartered in London. The work is design, development and manufacturing — today that means one product, the Trayser 2.0 delivery e-bike, rented and sold in London by Otto Scooter.
DFF Automotive — the 240R
Our first production car, launched in New Zealand: a chromoly-tube space-frame chassis with composite panels and a permanently open-top, mid-engine configuration — engineered so a novice driver could handle it with familiar road-car controls.
The Raker electric motorcycle
ETT goes electric: the Raker, built on patented modular frame technology. Over 100 hand-assembled units sold; full production and EEC certification followed in 2016, with UK customer deliveries from November 2016.
The Trayser 2.0
The same modular engineering, applied to the delivery problem: the biggest battery pack on any delivery e-bike you can rent in London — 1,056 Wh, removable, 50–60 miles of range — with a Gates carbon belt drive and hydraulic disc brakes. Built to work all day, every day.

ETT Industries was acquired by Otto Scooter Ltd in 2023. ETT stayed what it always was — the design and engineering side — while Otto Scooter became the single channel that rents and sells the Trayser in London, backed by the workshop and rider support behind one of the city's longest-standing electric delivery fleets.
Who owns ETT Industries?
ETT Industries is owned by Otto Scooter Ltd (Companies House No. 12152782), the London electric vehicle rental company, which acquired the brand, its customers and its operational assets in 2023. ETT continues as a distinct, design-led maker within the group, working out of the West London workshop at 66 Paddenswick Road, W6 0UB.
ETT was founded in New Zealand around 2010 with automotive and race-car engineering roots, produced the DFF 240R race car (2013) and the Raker electric motorcycle (2014, EEC-certified 2016), and today builds the Trayser 2.0 delivery e-bike. ETT does not rent or sell direct: Otto Scooter is the exclusive channel for renting a Trayser weekly or buying an ex-fleet one.
